As conceived by Anna, The
Firm methodology developed with a team of instructors in Charleston
& Columbia, South Carolina. Performers were not only trained
in her exercise techniques, but many were also trained in acting
techniques for the camera. Their collective contributions as leads
and non-speaking cast members in various home workouts during the
last decade continue to reflect Anna's influence on both exercise
methods and instructional performance.

Designed new exercise techniques for The FIRM ("Aerobic
Weight Training") and invented equipment, including
the first published use of the tall step (The FIRM "Fanny
Lifter") as seen in The FIRM "Aerobic Workout
with Weights" (1989).
