Hi there, the FitPrimes were made with the "over 35" crowd in mind, but I'm under 35 and enjoy them quite a bit. They have more weight training and less cardio than the KickButts. They are easily modifiable to whatever fitness level you are currently at. The KickButts have more cardio minutes. Many of them are very similar to the original FitPrime workouts that are now out of print. I couldn't live without either set. :p

I am also under 35 and I use FitPrime, because KickButt has high-impact aerobics, which I don't like to do. FitPrime is all lo-impact. And considering that I am under 35, I beleive that FitPrime is just as effective as KickButt...I don't beleive that workouts have to be more intense to be effective. Have you watched the video clips of each workout...the clips are here on this site.

I noticed that you mentioned the KICKBUTTS being higher impact.I have had "issues" in the past with stress fractures while performing high impact aerobics and try to stick with the low-impact stuff.Where the instructor has the class jumping, jogging or whatever higher impact movement is required. I adjust those movements to a low-impact activity. As long as you're moving and maintaining your aerobic zone it doesn't really matter. So you can really use all 12 workouts for low-impact workouts!
