I am considering ordering the Fitprime and Kickbutt DVD's. I have two of the Firm BSS's and I am very uncoordinated therefore I do not use them. I see that all of the tapes require a step. I am unable to do step aerobics...are there step aerobics on these workouts or are the steps used as benches, or for support doing other exercises? If the stepwork is not complicated I could maybe manage but I have two really bad left feet..
Thanks for any pointers..

Hello and welcome! :)
I'm not familiar with the videos you mentioned because I don't have them. However, I can say that as a klutz, I am able to do the WHFN workouts and love them. If you are concerned with your ability, might I suggest that you try the FitPrimes first?
I believe the step is used mostly for tall box climbs, but as a picture is worth a thousand words, have you looked at the video clips? You can see them here: http://whfn.com/videos.php I believe the clips will help to answer your questions. I'm sure others will jump in and share more with you too.
Does this help?

Actually the high step is used for these workouts but in slower more controlled movements, not the fast paced dancey things you probably are familiar with. AND at first you may not even want to try them with ANY step until you're familiar with the moves.

Thank you Ginger so much for the links to the videos...I am feeling much better about ordering the fitprimes!! It totally looks doable to me!! I like that the movements are slow and controlled and not horribly dancey...I also like that there is yoga and pilates included and not terribly too much cardio!! Hooray I may have finally found the system for me!!
Can I use the Fanny Lifter from the Firm for my box?? I saw that there was a stick used in the videos too..will the sculpting stick work for this??(also from the firm...) I already have towels..LOL and yoga bricks, and dumbells..so looks like I just need the DVD's!! I am off to the store to order them now!!

I think your fanny lifter would work fine. I would not use a weighted sculpting stick. They just use a wooden dowel. You can sub a broom or mop if you want!

I thought the clips were just what you needed. :)
Yes, as Lori said, the FL should be fine, that is what I usually use. You can get an inexpensive dowel by visiting your local home improvement store. I believe the stick/dowel measures about 48" long w/ about a 4" diameter and has rubber tips which many have also purchased from the home improvement store...or again, as Lori said, you can substitute a mop or broom.
HTH :)
