Fit prime has been a godsend, because I developed some knee problems about two years ago, and doing the traditional firm workouts became too painful. My doc says it is "just age," And that it is the kneecap itself--not the ligaments or tendons. He suggested an elliptical trainer ( HOW BORING!). I have been a firm believer since 1993, so it was a drag to only be able to do the floor work. Fit Prime is great because there is no knee pain. ( the crouching on the tall step is much easier on the knees-- it is great) However, I would like to up the ante to kickbutt-- the primes are great but I could use a more intense workout. I'd like to know if I could modify the kickbutt easily to make them lower impact, but still have the intensity. Any suggestions?

After swearing to myself I 'd never get the Kickbutt set until I got stronger, I broke down & got them all.
THe easier ones to modify (IMO) are Push/Pull, Strong Bear, and Crunchtime. Floor Burn is also good, the only thing I have issues with are the "leapforog" moves, so I do the modification they start the move out with. The only thing I felt odd in this w/o was that there were some modifications given to certain moves when you were working on the second side of the body, instead of making it harder, they showed the easier moves last, but the advanced moves first. Once you preview it & do the w/o a time or 2 thought it should get easier to remember the modification & do it if needed.

Thanks. I will give them a try. I have the old floor burn with Susan and I had to modify the leapfrogs too. I used a weight behind the knee and did lifts instead--something that I like to do anyway.
