Has any one done the original FitPrimes (like Fast Cheetah), and how
do they compare to the older Firms?

You know how the older firms kind of progressed? Fitprime is just a continuation of that. It is alot more like the Firm than the "new firm" is.
In other words, if Fitprime and the Goodtimes Firm are offspring of the original Firm, Fitprime is the *legitimate child*. ;)

What Lisa said. :) To me, they are just as difficult as the B/B/H FIRMs, yet they incorporate fresh methods -- non-dominant training, balance work, yoga/flexibility, etc. Many of the FPs to me are more difficult than the B/B/H FIRMs, and that's probably because I've done the B/B/H FIRMs so often. :)

I love the FitPrimes! I could do them every day. They are as good, or better than the old firms. I really don't like the new Firms....

I'm not a fan of the new Firms either.
I did Crunch Time w/ Susan this morning and I just love that workout, especially the hopscotch/ball toss tune. It's so much fun and I dig that song! I was happy when Tamela told me that they kept that in her version of the workout. I'm so anxious to try it with Tamela!

I have all the original FitPrimes!
They are very similar to the original Firms IMO because (1) they are beautiful, (2) they have great music, (3) they are challenging, (4) they are fun.
The difference is the absence of the background exercisers which is important to some people, but not to me. I like both types: with and without the background people.
Since I had a personal trainer for 2 years, I enjoy the feeling of one-on-one. :)

I am looking forward to receiving the whfn dvd sets. I have been a fan of the original firm tapes for about 10 years now.I did not realize until last year that Anna and Cynthia Benson have not been involved with The Firm exercise videos for a few years. I have bought Thr Firm body sculpting systems tapes( total of 12 tapes) since 2002, and I have not liked them. I rarely use them. I did not realize how motivated I was by the beautiful mansion set in the original firm tapes. I have found the new Firm tapes setting to pale in comparison. I wanted to order fitprime tapes a little while ago, but I do not think they were being shipped to Canada then. I was a little disappointed when I found out that Fitprime instructors, like Susan Harris Davis, Carissa Foster, and Tracy Long are not on the WHFN tapes, but I am sure I will like them any ways. I have videos with Heidi Tanner and Tamela Hastie as master instructors, and I have truly enjoyed them. Sorry for rambling on. I have battled weight problems all my life, and yo-yo'ed in weight most of my life. I am hoping to stay on the right track permanently this time, with my new WHFN and old Firm exercise videos.

Hi, June! I've had a hard time with consistency over the last year and a half or so, and I find a lot of support on this forum. We are all here to help each other. :)

Hi June! Welcome to the forum:) I found FitPrime about 2 years ago when I did a search for Tracie. I was in the same situation as you -- had purchased the new Firm not realizing that Anna & Cynthia were no longer behind it. When I found out, that explained why I didn't connect with the new workouts. Needless to say, I was in heaven when I found FitPrime!
