View Full Version : Requesting a review of new exercise material

As there's been this evolution (TheFirm/FitPrime/WHFN) since the 80's when I bought my first Firm tape, I've come to look for a workout outcome that surpasses any other fitness tapes/DVD's out there; Firm and Fitprime always delivered....so, this begs the question: has anyone ordered and 'done' the workouts and can summarize the sweat-and-burn level experience for me?

This new forum appears very appealing and I'm eager to see WHFN turn into a highly successful venture.

Feedback?

I believe Tarheels/Jennifer will be posting some reviews in the future, but I'm not sure how soon they will be posted.

I'll definitely have some reviews to post, but the workouts aren't finished yet or ready to ship. :)

I would like to see some user feedback on the new videos as well. I'm also wondering if the videos with the same titles as Fitprime videos are the same workouts but with different leads and settings. Does anyone know?

Hi Abbie it has been posted that some of the moves will be the same, but some have been tweaked and refined; and since the ball is not being used, they have had to replace that segment with something else. I can't wait to get them as ersatz66 said I've come to look for a workout outcome that surpasses any other fitness tapes/DVD's out there; Firm and Fitprime always delivered I don't think any of us have anything to worry about. Anna is a pro at this! My new quote is: If Anna builds it, I will come! I ordered all twelve, had there been twenty....I would have found some way to pay for those too. My health and fitness, I owe to The Firm Founders.......they are the ones that first created a workout system that has all components necessary to stay fit and keep motivated. I will never tire of any of their workouts!

Regarding the Kick Butt titles, these appear to be the most like the originals. However, I viewed the clip from Fast Cheetah, and I noticed many different sequences in that one from the clip. I was happy about that because, although I love my first Fast Cheetah, there were a couple cardio sequences that were a little too repetitive for me, as I'm a choreo lover. Other video clips, like Strong Bear, for example, look much more similar to the originals.

The FitPrime workouts appear to be mostly new material from the clips that are available right now (not all are up). Metaboost looks nothing like either of the Just Rights (I know this was a rumor). Flex Posture I'm not sure about since no clip is up.

If you want a thorough breakdown of the moves to fully answer this question, you may want to wait for reviews.

Does anyone know if the original FitPrimes are still available? I mostly want the Susan Harris one...

Hi Liz -

I see them on eBay sometimes, which is where I bought one of Susan's. (We won't mention I haven't tried it yet!!)

Maybe they show up on swaps, too; I haven't looked. I think both videofitness.com and the Firm Ya Yas have them? (Again, I won't mention how long it's been since I've been to either of those sites!!)

Good luck!

I just did Susan Harris' one (Crunch Time) this morning and I LOVE it -- I highly recommend it, especially if you were ever a fan of volume 1. It's so nice to work out with her again. :)

Mine is the mix-n-match compilation with Heide's From the Ground Up. A nice combo if you can find it... try eBay.
